Terms of Service
Last revised: July 2026
This document describes how Monivex actually operates today. It has not been reviewed by counsel and should be replaced with jurisdiction-specific, attorney-reviewed terms before Monivex accepts real funds or seeks money-transmission licensing.
By creating an account or using Monivex, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please also review our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.
1. Who We Are and What This Platform Does
Monivex ("Monivex", "we", "us") operates a trading interface that lets registered users place simulated buy/sell/convert orders against live market pricing for cryptocurrencies, forex pairs, and precious metals. Balances, orders, trades, and transaction history are real records stored in our database and tied to your account, but Monivex has not obtained money-transmitter, virtual asset service provider, or equivalent licensing in any jurisdiction. Deposits, withdrawals, and transfers move balances within Monivex's internal ledger only — no real on-chain cryptocurrency, fiat wire, or card transaction is executed as a result of any action on this platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and legally capable of entering into these Terms to register for or use Monivex. You are responsible for determining whether use of Monivex is lawful in your jurisdiction before creating an account.
3. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. Monivex offers password-based login, optional two-factor authentication (TOTP), and passkey (WebAuthn) sign-in — we encourage enabling 2FA on any account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access (see the Devices and Login History tabs under Account & Security for a real, live record of sessions and sign-in attempts).
4. Simulated Trading and No Real Custody
Order execution, fills, balances, and portfolio valuations on Monivex are computed against real, live third-party market data (see Section 7), but no funds are ever custodied on your behalf outside of Monivex's own internal database. Do not send real cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or card payments expecting Monivex to custody or transmit them on your behalf beyond what is explicitly built and disclosed in-product (for example, our MoonPay-powered on-ramp, where applicable). Deposit addresses and withdrawal confirmations shown in the product reflect internal ledger entries, not blockchain broadcasts, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of the transaction.
5. Fees
Trading fees (maker/taker, in basis points) are configured per market and are visible before you place an order. Fee schedules may change; the fee in effect at the time an order is placed applies to that order.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or to Monivex's systems; interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation (including attempting to bypass rate limiting or security controls); use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or misrepresent your identity during account verification.
7. Market Data
Live pricing is sourced from third-party providers, including CoinGecko and Coinbase Exchange (cryptocurrency), the European Central Bank (foreign exchange reference rates), and comparable providers for precious metals. Monivex does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data, and prices shown may differ from prices available on other venues.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or freeze an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, a security risk, or a violation of these Terms. You may stop using Monivex and request account closure at any time by contacting support.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Monivex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monivex and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses related to simulated trading outcomes, market data inaccuracies, or service interruptions. See our Risk Disclosure for platform-specific risks.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last revised" date on this page. Continued use of Monivex after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
